Conversation with a guest about the guest’s lost belongings
Introduction
Guests’ belongings often get lost or left behind at the hotel. This can happen either during their stay at the hotel, while attending events or visiting their restaurant for dining. Some hotels have a separate lost and found department to deal with these situations, but most commonly these issues are dealt with the help of housekeeping. Guests lose valuables (jewellery, electronic gadgets, cash, credit cards, documents), non-valuables (clothes and accessories, cosmetics, medicines) or sometimes food and drinks.
